The band Wretched was founded in Fair Oaks, Indiana by Keith Korth and Dean Justice in 2002. Wretched went on to record 2 demos, 1 EP, and numerous live shows that span from Chicago, IL to Indianapolis, IN. After multiple line-up changes and for personal reasons: Wretched took an indefinite hiatus in 2008.

In 2014, a reunion show accompanied by a full album release was planned under the new band name "Wretched Funeral". Due to personal interest and schedule conflicts, the project fell through.

In 2018, Wretched Funeral began pre-production on a full-length album that would contain 12 songs from their 2004-2008 set lists and 1 new song.

Finally, in 2019, the full-length Wretched Funeral album was recorded by Keith Korth, Dean Justice, and Dan Boissy. The album will release on October 30th, 2019, ending the 17 year journey of Wretched Funeral.
